Flutter Entertainment is making PokerStars the main poker product across its UK gambling brands.
The first step is the launch of PokerStars on Betfair on August 13, 2026. PokerStars will also be added to Sky Bet and Paddy Power later this year.
The current PokerStars UK platform will remain available during the move. Flutter plans to eventually transfer its customers and poker product to the Betfair Casino platform.
Players from Betfair, Sky Bet and Paddy Power will share one poker pool connected to the wider PokerStars Network. Flutter expects this approach to increase liquidity, create larger tournament fields and offer bigger prize pools.
Betfair managing director Kim Daly described the integration as a way to bring poker, sports betting and casino games together on one platform. PokerStars chief commercial officer Mike Woodbridge remarked:
PokerStars is the most iconic brand in global poker. These changes ensure that it remains a core, strategic brand within Flutter’s portfolio.
Woodbridge explained that different gambling rules across markets have reduced player pools and made it harder for global poker brands to operate. Flutter hopes its new model will bring more players back to online poker.
The company has already linked PokerStars with FanDuel in the US and with Sisal and SNAI in Italy.
