Manuel Ferrari Wins EPT Barcelona Main Event

Italian poker player Manuel Ferrari has won the 2026 PokerStars European Poker Tour Barcelona Main Event for $1.16 million.

Ferrari defeated a field of 1,823 entries in the €5,300 no-limit hold’em event at Casino Barcelona. It was the seventh-largest Main Event field in EPT history.

The tournament generated a prize pool of more than €8.8 million, with 271 players finishing in the money.

Ferrari entered the final day as one of six remaining players. He eventually reached three-handed play alongside Lukas van Eeden and Jose Criado, where the players agreed to a deal that redistributed the remaining prize money.

Criado finished third before Ferrari defeated van Eeden heads-up to secure the title.

Manuel Ferrari added:

I’ve worked towards this goal and finally it happened, so I’m super happy.

The victory is the biggest result of Ferrari’s career. He previously won the PokerStars Open Malaga Main Event in 2025 and a €2,200 high roller at PokerStars Open Campione in January 2026.

His career live tournament earnings have now reached nearly $1.7 million.
